Cold Snap and The Crochet Along

We are freezing!  Minus 8 degrees  with not much warming expected over the next few days.  I know, I know, its winter what do I expect?  A milder winter maybe.  I think I really have to consider moving south.

Look what is outside my upstairs bathroom window.   Don't remember ever having these like this before.

I am planning on posting the next few rows of the Crochet Along later today / this evening.   Rita, Gramma Rita's Crochet, Etc. finished the Rising Sun Doily a few days ago and it is magnificent.  Rita is a wonderful online friend and as you can see an amazing crocheter.  She just started her blog recently.  Hop on over and see what wonderful creations are unfolding.

Have a blessed day.

  4. Yikes! That is way too cold for me. I have an aversion to extreme cold. I'm a southern girl and now I live in a desert country. We don't do cold well. :) Rita's doily is gorgeous. I must check out her blog. Best wishes to you. Stay warm and cozy all day long. Tammy

  5. Wow, that's cold. I'll stop mumbling about it being too cold here from now on. We still have snow on the ground because it's too cold to melt it, but it is not -8. Wow. I love the picture from your bedroom window. It is pretty to look at Thanks also for the link to the new blog. I love seeing all the pretty doilies being made. Wishing you a lovely day. Blessings always. :)

  7. What a gorgeous doily! You are such a doily artist yourself Glor! I'm wishing you an early Spring 'cause it looks like you could use it! It's cold here too but not as bad as you. We had some warmer weather yesterday, combined with rain that took care of just about all of the snow here.
