Here's my recipe - all vegetables should be log shreds or julienned.<br />1/2 head cabbage, 3-5 carrots, sweet onion as much or as little as you like. Finely minced fresh garlic and ginger, red pepper flakes - all these proprotions per your personal taste. <br />dressing: 2 TBS each, cider or rice vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil. Toss all ingredients together, refrigerate several hours or overnight. Tossing occasionally to redistribute juices. Serve over hot or cold rice. Especially nice with white or brown fragrant rices, especially if you make it with lots of ginger,garlic and pepper. Also good stuffed in a pita bread with leftover chicken or pork.
