Make yourself familiar
with the angels, and behold them frequently in spirit; for without being seen they are present with you.

A Day in November
Isn't the contrast of the green, green leaves again the blue, blue sky beautiful. Would you believe these pictures were taken this past Sunday ... November! Quite some difference from the previous week of heavy snow and power outages. Its a rather strange autumn this year. Some areas have the golden leaves while yet many trees are as green as Spring. Temperatures are back to high 60's. To that I hear a very hard winter is forthcoming.
Lovely pictures. I hate to agree with you, but it does look like winter is gonna be a bear this year...just like the last one. Fall appears to be like our short Spring, from cold to heat and now from heat to cold. Ah well, at least we have something we can create with our hands to keep us busy. Don't forget about the CAL that starts this Friday for the Huggable Penguin.
Pretty pictures. You are right, it does look more like spring than fall. Most of the leaves are off the trees in my "neck of the woods". Have a great day Glor. :-)
Hi Glor, looks like springtime....we are falling back in to fall today, it is beginning to rain..made an apple pie today with apples we picked up yesterday on our weekly trip to the country... Faith crochet by the sea

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen's Prayer for Spiritual Adoption
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the preborn child that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.
Glory of The Season
Almighty God, Father of all nations, For freedom you have set us free in Christ Jesus. We praise you and bless you for the gift of religious liberty, The foundation of human rights, justice, and the common good. Grant to our leaders the wisdom to protect and promote our liberties; By your grace may we have the courage to defend them, For ourselves and for all those who live in this blessed land. We ask this through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, our patroness, And in the name of your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, In the unity of the Holy Spirit, With whom you live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Today is special ...
Today is God's gift to you, how you use it is your gift to God
Before the Threshold of My Day
I've much to do today, dear Lord, But let me kneel a bit Before the threshold of my day That I may enter it With mind serene and heart made fresh with fragrant heavenly dew. That every moment of the day I'll be reflecting you.
I love, love, love to crochet! Always looking for patterns, new threads, and yarn and to share the craft with others. An avid reader, enjoy cooking and finding new recipes and love laughter!
