Thank you for the pattern. The doilies are lovely. I'm not very good following patterns in English, but I want to learn. The pattern doesn't look too complicated, so I'm going to try it.
ReplyDeleteThanks again and have a nice week!
Are you able to crochet already Glor? Hope you are healing up nicely!
ReplyDeleteXO Kris

This is lovely, Glor. I'm still making your mug doily coaster -- in fact, made about three during our recent trip to Dubai. :) Thanks for sharing your patterns. Best wishes, Tammy

ReplyDeleteThere aren't any chain 2 spaces to work from the previous row? Thanks for your help :)
I love this pattern! It was easy to use and made a beautiful doily. I'm going to give mine to my Mum for her birthday.
ReplyDeleteIt would also be very cute as a rug on the floor of a dollhouse.
Beautiful little gift. Something everyone will love and treasure!
Thanks for the pattern! Keep up the lovely work!
I'm one of only five non gay men in the whole world that enjoys crocheting but trying to make since of written patterns is a freak'n whip!! I can't get past number five on this pattern. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
ReplyDelete...for example, can someone define "space" starting with number five?
ReplyDelete"Space" refers to a spot from a previous round made by x numbers of chain stitches.
Deletewhats a size 5 hook? is 1.25mm ok?
ReplyDeleteThe 5 hook is a 1.9mm. The 1.25mm would be a much smaller steel hook, probably like a size 11. You can use whatever size is comfortable to you just the size of the doily would then be smaller.
DeleteThanks Glor, yes it started to ruffle and turned out tiny! :)
DeleteI'm having problems with row or round 7. It doesn't make sense to me at all. How do I get to the next chain 2 space when there are 8 double crochets between the two chain 2 spaces. Help Please! Betty Radcliffe
