As I'm writing this I'm looking out the window at the snow covered orchard and grounds with predictions of more to come next week. At least we have sunshine today and so the snow doesn't last that long. In fact, I'm sure it is providing wonderful moisture to the grass and bulbs which was starting to awaken.
This is my second favorite time of year. The new leaves and grass will come into being with what I call the new green. Nature never ceases to amaze me, always ready to bestow its gift of manificence. Just thinking of it makes me smile.
Although I have been quiet through the past month here, times are busy and the hook equally so. Spring cleaning is taking a front burner right now and my first ever garage sale being planned for most likely May. So much has been accumulated over the years and I now find that I like simple better so its time to let go of all the knick knacks and "stuff". And do I have stuff!
The hook has its three or four projects whizzing along. A baby ghan was completed, two ripples in progress along with the blackberry salad which is growing a several stripes each week. This is my crochet project I work on while at the MIL's. Now to get some pictures taken to show you how they're going.
Well, the day calls and I'm off and running. May spring shower you with blessings and joy.
Have a lovely weekend.
