Yarn Dilemma(s)

The greengate blanket is now half done, actually more then half done.  Half way was row 85 and then work in reverse.  I'm now 7 rows on the second half and I have to wait as I have run out of the light blue.  With all the yarn I have you would think I would have a light blue tucked away in the stash, but no.  So, a jaunt to Michael's is on the agenda.  Trying to condition myself to go in, get only the blue yarn and leave.  I can do it, I can do it ...  (time will tell!)

I'm really itching to start the Flower Garden Afghan from the last post.  Let's see if I can hold out another weekend!

  1. Your post made me laugh - I am the same way at a craft store, it is extremely hard for me to just go in and get what I need and leave!!

Have a wonderful weekend, blessings to you :)

  3. I have no doubt that you can walk into Michael's and just get the yarn you need, but why should you?

Ohhhh the new afghan you are talking about is awesome. What color are you going to work it in? I am looking forward to watching your progress on this one, too.

    Blessings always dearest friend.

  4. Yes, you can just go in and buy the light blue and leave! Just remember that all that temptation is also work you will have to complete. Concentrate on what you have to work on now! Hope that helped~ LOL ♥♥♥

  5. The greengate blanket is gorgeous! I've not had much time to crochet lately -- a few simple doilies some evenings but that's about it. Doing lots of walking and then just the day to day stuff keeps me busy. I'll be glad when the school year is over and summer vacation begins. Hope you have a lovely weekend. Tammy
