Do you remember the tiny blanket I made a while back with the cross stitched lamb on it? It has come out of storage and being made ready. My husband thought it would be nice to have our little one's name on it so after looking through my cross stitch mags I came upon this alphabet ... upper and lower case ... and the needle is moving.
Another project in the works is my next autumnal stitching, very cute, bright and happy! Key ingredients. I also really need to get moving on a potholder for an exchange I signed up for. I can feel once I pick up the hook again I will be back to heavy duty crochet mode. A rather nice place to be, I must say. Well, these are what will keep me quiet and busy for the next few days/week.
TGIF and blessings.

ReplyDeleteI love hearing about new grandbabies. I wish there were some of my horizon cuz I love making baby things. The blanket with the name on it will be especially loved. I also can't wait to see your new autumn x-stitch done.
ReplyDeleteHi Glor! If it's the same exchange I signed up for, you're not alone! I plan on working on potholders today too!! Have fun with yours, and have a great day! ~tina
ReplyDeleteOh your stitching is so cute!
ReplyDeleteHope we get to see the pot holder you create...I have a feeling once you touch that hook it will be all over with for the stitching. :)
Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with many blessings for you and your family :)
Psst...I updated my blog with pictures of how far I have gotten along on the knitted shawl...Yeah, I know I am suppose to be stitching...It's really not my fault..you'll have to read all about it. :)
Hi Glor, hope all is well. I see you have been busy, keeping busy with cross-stitch. This baby blanket of yours is what inspired me to start combining cross-stitch with crochet. But my cross-stitches are more rectangular so the image doesn't always turn out properly. I must not be stitching in the right place but it's the only way I can figure to do it -- otherwise the image comes out squatty looking. :/ We went to Nepal for 10 days and just returned yesterday. Much washing to do and cleaning too. A little at a time. Hope you are having a great day. Tammy
