RedheadedCraftster of
is making her wedding dress using doilies and she has used two of my doilies. The top doily is my Birthday Doily (November 2010), the most left one under it is the April Showers Doily (April 2012).
I am fabulously honored.
You really need to hop over and visit her blog and see what she is planning ... the invitations are so cute, the cake(s) ... well, my favorites ... wait till you see, and of course, the dress. I think she is doing a magnificent job. She is going to be beautiful.
I'm sure you will enjoy your visit and, like me, will be visiting and enjoying the progress of her plans.
Wow!! That is absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great honor to have your doilies on her most important dress. Enjoy your day. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome Glor! I know you have to be tickled pink. :o) Heading on over to check it out.
ReplyDeleteOh, how exciting for you that she is using some of your patterns! :D I'm going to go check out her blog now. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post :) I came across your doily patterns and thought they were beautiful. I had never made doilies before, just mostly stuck with yarn. But your patterns were easy to follow and they turned ou great! Im still along ways away from being done with my dress though. Still have probably about 20 doilies or so to make then
ReplyDeleteI have to sew them all .. Feels like I'm
Running out of time ! :)
Very cool! I popped by her place. Love the dress! And the fact that she is doing her wedding her way. For only crocheting the past three years, she is making so many wonderful things. There are some of your doilies that I make over and over and over again. :) Hope you have a great weekend. Tammy
