making now ... is this magnificent ... gave me the courage to try the Holiday Cable throw that Red Heart has. I have found it to be a fun work and so much easier then I anticipated. So, I ordered the Arans Afghans to Crochet, a treat to myself and yes, I will have to make one in a color, just like Heather.

Thank you for your kind words and the link up. Hope your week is off to a great start. Heather
ReplyDeleteGlor, I went and looked up that Holiday Cables Throw and it is just gorgeous. Can't wait to see yours. The pattern does look a little intimidating, so I'm glad to hear it is not as bad as it looks :)
ReplyDeleteOh you deserve a treat and that pattern book looks just awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteI am still cross stitching, but when I get back into the hooky mood again, I am planning on picking back up the Holiday Cables Throw. I agree with you, it's a lot easier than you'd think and the videos on the designers blog help out if there are any questions.
Wishing you a lovely day filled with many blessings :)
Looking forward to seeing yours sister...:) Heather does beautiful work doesn't she...you both are quite an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThese afghans are very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi, Glor, I was looking back to some of my old posts and the friends who commented back then. I just love your prayer. It's beautiful. May the Lord have mercy on our country. Best wishes, Linda
ReplyDeleteI have recently became disabled, how do I get the instructions afghans above?
ReplyDeleteJulie
The pattern is in the book I just ordered, Aran Afghans to Crochet. I ordered it on Amazon.com.
DeleteHeather is one talented crocheter, as are you -- so I have no doubt you will master any new pattern in no time. Best wishes, Tammy
