A Day in November

Isn't the contrast of the green, green leaves again the blue, blue sky beautiful.  Would you believe these pictures were taken this past Sunday ... November!  Quite some difference from the previous week of heavy snow and power outages.   Its a rather strange autumn this year.  Some areas have the golden leaves while yet many trees are as green as Spring.  Temperatures are back to high 60's.  To that I hear a very hard winter is forthcoming.

Sort of hard to believe isn't it?

  1. Lovely pictures. I hate to agree with you, but it does look like winter is gonna be a bear this year...just like the last one. Fall appears to be like our short Spring, from cold to heat and now from heat to cold. Ah well, at least we have something we can create with our hands to keep us busy. Don't forget about the CAL that starts this Friday for the Huggable Penguin.

Blessings to you and yours always

  2. Pretty pictures. You are right, it does look more like spring than fall. Most of the leaves are off the trees in my "neck of the woods". Have a great day Glor. :-)
