Beautiful sunshine today with a coolness to the air. Happy to be off today. Looking forward to tending to household chores and cooking. I love puttering and making everything fresh, especially in this weather. With that said, off to put together a double batch of sauce to simmer for the morning and then into the freezer later this afternoon.

    What kind of sauce? My dad always said, "Even a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work." So I agree that even a day of cleaning and puttering is better than a good day at work, right?
