Grab an umbrella ...

I

its raining, its pouring (at times) and thankfully so.  The temperatures the past week have hit the three digit mark (don't even want to say or think the hundred word again) and everything is dry and brittle so a nice summer rain is more then welcome.

Have become lax on the blogging front, much to tend to lately but hope to get back to my stitching, crocheting and blogging and especially visiting your wonderful blogs very soon.  The weekend was full of joy and excitement with a shower for the expected babe, who, by the way, may be putting in appearance in the not too distant future.

Adjusted work schedule this week leaves this afternoon free, so enjoying the lullaby of the soft falling rain, will brew a cup and get the hook dancing.   How about a cup with me?

  2. I love the smell of the rain, we had a few humdingers the other day, we got so much rain some folks had flooded basements...in certain areas..we were blessed to not have that be the case...up to the bumper kind of rain...gentle softly falling is much more the order of the day...we've none today...but when it does rain, welcome none the less. I'd love to sit and have a cuppa with you dear friend...what a joy that would be...for soon you will have that Babe....oh the excitement of it all...:)

  4. I love that... dancing in the rainy parade! I, too, love everything about a summer rain storm, as long as it doesn't include hail!

  5. We got a little bit of rain here today, but we sure need lots more. It's barely wetting the ground when it does rain, and it's been dry for a long time. Not loving these hot and humid days. Will be glad when Fall is here. :D

I thought the baby was due in October..is something the matter that it might be arriving earlier...or am I just screwed up on the date? Just curious. Hope everything is fine. :)

  9. I too enjoyed the rain yesterday. We needed it badly and was grateful for it. The temperatures dropped and it was a cool 65 this morning. Finally some relief from the heat. Hope you had a nice relaxing day yesterday.
