You are a busy bee....stop and enjoy along the way....bad weather here in Ohio last night...we were under a Tornado Warning for our area..hale and high winds...this weather...what is going on? Unstable weather changes, cold, hot , humid...hope it stays clear of you..homemakin to do today...it is a good day to be moving about my homestead...:)
Good morning Glor! The weather does seem to be in quite a struggle with itself. We don't get anything too severe around here.. not typically anyways. It has been warm then cold, then cloudy, then sunny, then cloudy again, rain then no rain... I just try to tell myself better days are comin', and then just make the best of what we GOT for now.. Hope your day today is a good one. LOVE the very pretty doily in your previous post, and thank you for sharing your pattern! ~tina
Hope you clouds part and sunshine fills the rest of your day and week! I hope you don't mind, but I wrote a little something about you on my blog. Thank you again for the lovely doily pattern.
I needed that little ray of sunshine today. She's adorable and brightened up things around here. We've had rain, rain, rain and I'm ready for some sunshine.
Hi Glor Re: Fairy Garden...absoulutely....copy away...I hope this works because it will be a beautiful burst of color..they all tend to bloom at the same or around the same time.. In the bottom of the container...we got a small bag of white marble $2.93, I used about 1/2 in the bottom, and 1/2-3/4 depending on the size of your container of sand...and the rest is potting soil.. AV prefer to be watered from the bottom..so we'll see how this works out. They don't look any worse for the ware then yesterday...and have lots of fresh soil to stretch out in. Now..I need to find the the little furniture I bought just for this....I have an angel in there too...stained glass aqua..doesn't show up in the picture...because of photographer skills? NOT.... It is heavy to move around...so try to pick the best spot the first time...:) Enjoy can't wait to hear about your Fairy Garden.....
Oh thank you Glor for your little bug girl and her sunshine and smiles that she's brought to all of us!! I hope you have a very blessed week and I pray that all of these terrible storms subside.
Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen's Prayer for Spiritual Adoption
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the preborn child that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.
Glory of The Season
Almighty God, Father of all nations, For freedom you have set us free in Christ Jesus. We praise you and bless you for the gift of religious liberty, The foundation of human rights, justice, and the common good. Grant to our leaders the wisdom to protect and promote our liberties; By your grace may we have the courage to defend them, For ourselves and for all those who live in this blessed land. We ask this through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, our patroness, And in the name of your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, In the unity of the Holy Spirit, With whom you live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Today is special ...
Today is God's gift to you, how you use it is your gift to God
Before the Threshold of My Day
I've much to do today, dear Lord, But let me kneel a bit Before the threshold of my day That I may enter it With mind serene and heart made fresh with fragrant heavenly dew. That every moment of the day I'll be reflecting you.
