My friend picked this granny pattern for June.
Simply Simple Afghan, Free-Crochet.com
Forty little squares to make and join. That seemed like it was going to last forever but now they are done and together.
And now the border. This is the really simple part, not that any of it was hard. Makes for a relaxing evening of tv and crochet.
I think there are about another dozen rows to do. It will be a nice newborn blanket.
Anxious to see what her next granny pick will be although I will get my granny ripple completed next (along with some thread crochet).
A lovely evening to you.
Glor, that is so beautiful! Love, love, love the colors. It will be a lovely newborn blanket. Great job my friend :)

Awww, that is so precious. I'm pretty sure I have that one saved in my favorites to do...oh if I ever find the time between designing, filling orders and making gifts.
ReplyDeleteI pray your day is abundantly blessed!

ReplyDeleteHi Glor, this is so very sweet. I might have to give this a try when I get back to Kuwait. Right now I am working on the fly stitch or v-stitch (I forget what you called it) -- bought a HUMONGOUS ball of variegated yarn from Joanne's. One of my best friends is having her 7th child the end of September so I need to work on many things for her. Best wishes always, Tammy
ReplyDeleteI like the end-effect, with that surrounding crochetwork and a look at the global work.
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely! ^^
