What's Doing Wednesday

The needle and hook aren't moving as quickly as I would like these days but they are making progress.

I really like the texture and weight (nice and warm) of the double, single crochet and happy with the baby boy colors.  Two color repeats completed, I'm thinking that there should be five to finish.

My Easter Stitch Along has been started and is a delightful pattern.  I'm wondering if I should not have used a darker fabric as the white doesn't stand out as much as I think I would like.  I'm thinking I can always outline the design.

Blog visiting yesterday, I saw the most adorable baby ensemble Leisure Arts Leaflet at Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Yarn

I just had to find this and I did ... I was able to order it from Leisure Arts and downloaded this a little while ago.  Is this just the sweetest little outfit?  Bet you can guess who this will be for too.

Wonderful Wednesday,
Blessings Galore

  4. Your baby blanket is coming along nicely. I really like the pretty colors you are using. Love the baby outfit you are going to make! The designer is the same as an afghan I'm getting ready to start; Anne Rabun Ough. I think Fisherman style must have been her "thing". Have a wonderful day Glor. :-)

  5. Your blanket seems to be coming along nicely. I just need to do the border on mine. And I would like to start one for a boy. A friend was making one for this teaching couple at school who just had a boy and then she decided to give it to someone else. I didn't make one for the couple at school because she was, but now I want to since she didn't. :/ Does that make sense?? Anyways, the soup recipe is posted today. I've already shared it with a couple of friends here who were interested. :) Have a great day. Tammy

  6. The blanket is just so sweet, I can't wait to see it all finished. You are going to have a ball making all the neat baby things before the little one arrives, I know. :)

Your SAL project is coming along very well. I think if you outlined it, it would make it pop more, but there is nothing wrong with the way
    it looks now either.

Thanks for visiting with me today. I wish you were closer, too...I'd love to teach you needlepoint....maybe even knitting, too. We would have a blast! :)

    Blessings always

  8. Love the blanket, the mint green is so pretty in it. I like that stitch pattern, close and tight and it will be so warm and snuggly. The little outfit is just precious. What fun you will have making that for your little grandson. I enjoy seeing what others are working on. It is fun to share projects. Hope your day is beautiful!
