A Rainy Day in July

Yesterday it poured, all day.  The temperatures dropped and having had the day at home took advantage of the cooler weather ... the Red Granny is completed!
I'm quite pleased with it.

I can see another or two in the future.
Now, on to completing the pink daisy.   Most of the squares are done as are three strips so it should be done shortly.  You know what this means ... I can start another.   (Make that two more ... yikes!)   I just have to have several projects going at once.

I just have to mention  ... I've watched quite a bit of news regarding the theatre shooting in Colorado ... I really do not have words for this horrific happening.  I can only say that my prayers are being offered.  Who would think that in such an innocent thing as attending a movie would such happen.  My heart hurts, my thoughts and prayers with all.

God bless,

It's terrible about the shooting in Colorado - I just don't understand why someone would do such a thing. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families also.

  3. Oh Glor, it's absolutely GLOR-ious! I too am praying for the people in that horrible tragedy. What makes humans do such terrible things? I pray for his family as well as I am certain they are mortified and heart-broken.

  10. So pretty Glor!

Yes, I can't understand why someone would take innocent people's lives like that. I feel bad for everyone involved. We may never know why because he's clammed up. And really it doesn't matter because so many lives have been affected. It won't bring the lost ones back. If he's unhappy with life then why not just take his own and not people's who deserve the chance to live?
