What's Doing Wednesday

Yarn, yarn and more yarn!  Grannies, grannies and more grannies!  Isn't that just grand!
The daisy granny is really a fun pattern to work up.  Its easy and a pattern that seems to just work itself, its that easy.  A good one for TV time.  Have about half the squares done, a third of them joined now.

The red granny has taken over the dining room with half of those squares joined as well.  Its still a little too warm to work with this for too long a time so its my go to now and then project.  It makes me smile, its just that happy!

I am still undecided which pattern to use for the baby boy blanket needed for November.  These are my two choices.  Deciding on whether the squares will be small or larger ones.

And, of course, you don't think I could browse around and not come up with another have to have ...  I am head over heels for this which I found the other day.  You can see more about it at Fiddlesticks.

As you can see, my project of choice at the moment .... g r a n n i e s ...
Have a great Wednesday

  5. Love the daisy grannies and the red granny. I'd go with the 'square in a square' - they're bigger and you won't have to make so many. Have a good day. :)

  9. Hey there, Glor! Well, I was still getting that silly message, so I came to visit you through IE rather than Chrome and all is well. Thank goodness! I love all your grannies -- especially that red one. For the baby boy blanket, why don't you do a mix of those lovely patterns? Would make it quite unique. I love the grany sampler crochet along going on over at Wise Craft. I don't know why choosing colors for projects throws me for a loop when I have every color imaginable mixed together in my ownn home. :) Hope all is well with you and that you are having a great week. All the best, Tammy

  11. Fiddlesticks' blanky is calling me! I love all of yours. You are like I am in regards to grannies. I am actually working on a circular pillow (long pillow that's round) cover for my oldest grand daughter for her birthday in October. I meant to take a pic of it last night but didn't. I only have a few more inches to finish it before I assemble it. I've been trying to get in gear in my head for Christmas. I've already been receiving emails with Christmas stuff in them.
