Caring can be a color ...

or colors ... like, pinks, purples, creams, whites, pale yellow ... and when these colors are found in yarn they can be crocheted, with love and special thoughts, into most beautiful pieces.

Anita from ASE Knits 'n' Crochets posted about Channelle in the UK and Channelle's June 9th entry (Channelle's Crochet Creations) about her sister's recent diagnosis of cancer and the fact that she would like to put together a blanket of granny squares for her sister for the many months ahead of chemo and radiation treatment.

There's something about crochet that provides comfort. I know a few months back when I had to go for a heart catherization I was given a prayer shawl from my church. I cannot tell you how deeply that touched me. Holding this amazing hand made yarn fabric gave me such peace. Here, from someone I didn't know, probably won't ever know, I had the product of someone who cared enough to reach out.

This is what Channelle is doing for her sister http://chanscrochet.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2010-06-10T08%3A28%3A00-07%3A00&max-results=7.

Thought you might like to know about this.

Blessings.
