Finished the Rising Sun Doily this evening. The pattern calls for size 20 thread and a size 10 hook for a 12 1/2 inch doily. I used size 10 thread and a size 4 hook, using almost the entire ball of thread and ended with an 18 inch doily. I think this may be the pattern for the Crochet Along. I had made this a few years ago but wanted to do again to make sure that I understood the pattern.
I am thinking that I may make the next one in a two tone again and maybe use a smaller hook. The yellow and pink one I made a few years ago. It comes out during the Easter and Summer months.
Looking to start the Crochet Along towards the end of the week.
It was fun working with others on the last crochet along and the results were just beautiful.
Hope you'll join in.
Yay! You can totally count me in my friend! I can't wait!!

I've never done a Crochet ALong, so I'm thinking I may give this a try. Not sure I have a #4 hook but I love working with #10 Thread. I usually use a #7 hook. I'll be watching for the start of this.
