We are always the
same age inside.

We were just recently having this discussion ... this past year in turning 60 (I think this age is a hoot!) I find the body is a little more reluctant at times, but this brain of mine still thinks it a slender, energetic 18. Have to tell you, I like the way it thinks.
Good morning, followed you over here from your comment on my blog. Thank you. I was just saying the other day how I feel the same inside as I did when I was young even though I am 54. Funny thing isn't it? I love your blog name. I have been getting into crocheting since being home from working full time for many years. I have a passion for doilies and those vintage potholders. Crocheting and hand sewing are so calming. I don't do cross stitch but I do love the beautiful work. I have a gorgeous cross stitch that was a Christmas gift from my sis-in-law. It is a work of art. Looking forward to visiting with you. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother would always say...You see an old woman, but I'm telling you I'm only 16 years old inside~ I didn't understand then, but I sure do now~~~ LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL!! so true, congratulations on turning 60...er, I mean, 18!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are feeling better. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you do join in on the heart SAL. It's gonna be a lot of fun.
60 is a wonderful age! Now it's your time to do what ever you want. Go through the motions and the body will follow. :)
Blessings always
What a wonderful inspiration! I need to adopt that attitude! Love that quote. Going to try to make it my mantra this coming week when I get to start riding to work again...
ReplyDeleteI like the way you approach 60 :)) of coarse I have left it behind and heading for 70, but not yet. :))
ReplyDeleteIt is true, but cruel we still think we are only 18..
But... so long as the feet touch the good earth in the morning , I'm happy :)) Have a sunny day ..
hugs pat :))
