I just love this blanket, everything about it, the colors, the squares, the softness and I have to make one just like it in KNIT ... yikes ... but I think its a good way to see if I can get used to knitting. So move over hooks and give the needles some room. However, I do anticipate that this will be an ongoing project in between crocheting.
My tools are ready and waiting
...but first, the last row of the edging is being added to this baby blanket.
When completed the needle clicking will commence (I hope).
I so envy those who can knit.
Wish me luck!
I wish you all the luck in the world, but it sounds like you have your mind set, and I'm sure the end result will be beautiful. The colors look great together!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I've tried knitting a few times, but prefer crochet. I like the smooth rhythm of the hook as it slips in and out of the yarn.
ReplyDeleteI agree, crochet lady, knitting for me is a nice alternative and sometimes a challenge, but I do prefer to crochet - I find it also less strenous on my hands.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know both, so good luck, Glor, you certainly don't lack in enthusiasm and that is a surefire way to success! I know you'll enjoy it!
I wish you luck too! I don't know how to knit and love crochet so why change a good thing right? I'm sure it will be beautiful even though your afghan is looking beautiful also!
