Addendum:
Nine years ago on September 26th, two weeks from tomorrow, I, my husband and a few friends worked at the Ground Zero site in NYC bringing food and supplies to the firemen and police men who were coming out of as well as going into the pit. I stood probably about 100 yards from the rubble of what was the Twin Towers. It was still burning.
I wish that every American could have seen what we saw. We did write an account which I may share later, but still, 9 years later, I cannot believe the devastation that I saw. I have never found the words to accurately describe it. Never in my life have I seen anything like this and I pray to God that never again do we see such a thing.
WE MUST NEVER FORGET.
It was truly an unreal turn of events.
ReplyDeleteIt still boggles my mind and it saddens me that so many seem to have forgotten, and I don't know how anyone could forget.
In His love,

I'll never forget that terrible day.
ReplyDeleteThank you for helping the way you did.
Thank you for serving in the aftermath. That had to have been excruciatingly hard. God bless you for putting hands and feet to your faith.
ReplyDeleteWell my goodness..you have so many blogs, I think I joined the wrong one at first. Well, here I am...your new follower to this blog.
ReplyDeleteRe: 911, I was there too, shortly after. We were at a deli, eating when they brought another person out. In MARCH! Devastating beyond words. WE shall never forget, and I shall fly my American flag with pride every day!!
