A newly added project ... round ripple, a baby round ripple. My oldest son's friends had a baby boy last week so pulled out the Pound of Love yarn in yellow, white and blue. Its been a while since I've worked a round ripple, I do love this. Good thing, there are another two in my future. Twins are due in the spring.
Three out of my several in works include the Christmas Grannie Afghan and a recent Crochet-Along doily that I've been doing here. The last two rows I will be posting very soon. I have to say that sharing the working of this doily made it go very quickly for me and I am pleased to have another vintage piece of work. Several have joined me and their doilies are just beautiful.
I just love the edging of this doily. I'm thinking of making a lacy scarf and edge with this.
I am linking to Every Day Crochet's Work in Progress Wednesday.
Round ripples are one of my favorites to make. Love the colors of yours. I still plan on doing the CAL ... maybe after the craft show this weekend things will get back to normal! Have a great week my friend.

ReplyDeleteYour crochet is beautiful :)) I have never made a roud ripple rug, maybe in the future I will have a go :))
ReplyDeleteI've still never made a round ripple, but I think it'll be on the list to use as lap blankets for the VA.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful doily! I envy those that can work with thread.
Thanks for hooking up with WIP Wednesday!
Love your round ripple. I just finished mine. :)
ReplyDeleteLookin' good, Gloria! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like all of the projects you have on the go. I must try a round ripple too.
ReplyDeleteI love the doily edging, too!
ReplyDeleteIf I ever did a WIP Wednesday, I think it might possibly blow up all the computers of visitors because it would have about 10,000 photos... :)
Such a pretty round ripple blanket. I really want to try one, but can't seem to get the hang of it. What pattern do you use?
ReplyDeleteSure do like your round ripple. Wish I had the patience to do one. I REALLY love the doily edging. Is this a pattern you can share? Wouldn't that look nice on the bottom of a little girl's dress??
