Christmas Projects Finished ... almost

Two more items done ...

My December Doily of The Month is done, starched, blocked and dryed.  Now to type up the pattern.  Hope to get this done tonight and posted.

This is my rendition, so far, of the wreath from the previous post.  I have to say that as far as cost goes its quite a deal ... the wreath was $2.50 at Michaels ...love those sales!   But I'm not sure that it has the same pizazz.  Maybe a real wreath is an added plus.  I'll have to see how it looks on my way out this morning.  I may stop later today to get more of the green ornaments.

Have a marvelous day!

  3. That looks like a lovely pattern! I can't wait to give it a try. For some reason I am really in a doily mood. I stitched up an old pattern recently and have really enjoyed it.

  7. I think your wreath is great. Especially since you had to spend so little money to get what you wanted. Always love seeing your doilies. I need to get back to making things again. Haven't done much in the past week and before we know it, Santa will be coming down the chimney! :) Hope you are having a great day. Tammy

  11. The doily looks so pretty! Your wreath turned out nice too. It is so windy here today I think you would need a very strong anchor to hold it down!
