Saturday Morning

We have very crisp weather, December has finally caught on, there's no doubt.  However, can't complain, so many have had snow and yesterday we just had flurries, nothing more.  And the colder weather certainly makes it feel more holiday, at least for me.

The baby round ripple, finally completed, will get wrapped today and ready for mailing out on Monday.  I'm thinking the Christmas granny I was working on will resurface now and who knows maybe it will get done before Christmas, but I'm not counting on it.  I started fiddling last night with some Caron Simply Soft and coming up with a scarf pattern and I want to try my hand at an oval doily design.  All good thoughts but will see if they come to fruition.  Other then that, lots of household chores on the plate.  A super busy week coming up.
Off to plug in the tree, start the coffee ... won't you join me in a cup?  Have a wonderful day, maybe will see you later.

  6. Hey Glor, we are still using the a/c around here during the day. When the cold comes, it will be sudden. Love the snowflakes you whipped up. Will have to check out the pattern. Haven't been feeling up to par lately but hopefully back into the swing of things again. Your round ripple is beautiful and is such a special gift. Love all those santas in your kitchen. I just started switching things out today and got a little decorating done. It's off to bed now. Back to school/work tomorrow. Hope you are having a great weekend. :) Tammy

  8. We got a pile of snow last night about 6-8". Winter is definitely here.

Your baby ripple blanket turned out so lovely. I have seen that pattern and been wanting to make it. Maybe after this busy season slows down.

  12. Beautiful blanket! How do you get it to stay nice and flat? I'm working on my first ripple and it's tending to curl up at the endges :-(

  13. Supercraftygirl, couldn't find an email address for you ... the ripple is alternating rows of two rows with 2dc 2ch 2dc in each point, then two rows of 1dc 2ch 1dc. Alternating between the two until you have the size desired. Hope that helps. If not please email me at glor.crochetgalore@gmail.com
