Its been snowing now since just after noon and looks like its going all night into tomorrow. The wind is howling and the snow is blowing sideways with drifts forming. A very good night to be in safe and sound, thankfully. Good thing I filled the bird feeders this morning, the little ones will be around come dawn and will have their fill.
My crochet hook has been busy with the makings of the below 1940 doily, now about half done. This is one pattern I am trying out for the next crochet along probably sometime next month. Then I will be trying one with pineapples that was suggested. I have to make sure I understand the patterns then we'll see which we do.
Off to make some hot chocolate ... think I'll swipe a candy cane off of the Christmas tree. Mmmmm, sounds good. Get some of that leftover Christmas dessert too. Its all calorie free, right?
Keep warm and safe.
Keep warm and safe.
Of course it's all calorie free!
ReplyDeleteEveryone's having snow but me (sigh!) I miss it! That blue doily looks very frosty and wintry...nice job!
ReplyDeleteHope you don't get too much snow.
ReplyDeleteLovely color on that doily.
Pretty doily glor - I just might give it a try when you're ready. :)
ReplyDeleteOH...stay nice and warm inside!!! Love the doily!
ReplyDeleteYou are the 4th blogger who has posted about the blizzard. You will need all those calories to help keep you warm while the weather outside is frightful. Crocheting is the best way to spend your time. I tried to use my thin cotton for the Merrily doily but it wasn't working out because of the size. One day I will actually have to try the thread. :/ Best wishes to you and yours. Stay safe and warm. Blessings, Tammy
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful doily! I live in a place that snow never comes, but I hope I can share your feeling. Keep warm and safe, too.
ReplyDeleteTake care and God bless,
Hugs, xxx
