Sunny Sunday

We've got clear skies and super sun this morning with predictions of the same for tomorrow.  The sun bouncing off the snow is gorgeous.  Its really a wonderland look.  Winter certainly does hold its own magnificence.

I've added a few more rows to the Rising Sun doily, with five more rows to go to finish.  I had hoped to be a little further along on this by now but life has this funny quirk of getting in the way.  We'll see where we get to today.  I think this could be a fun pattern (and the end result I think is very pretty) for the Crochet Along.

  1. Good Sunny Morning, it is sunny and sparkly here too,in the shadows the snow has taken on that blue shade, and in the sunshine it has the orange sparkly look..it is so pretty..winter does have it's moments, if were paying attention. I saw the other night the most beautiful blue spruce, with fresh fallen snow on it, the snow on the branches illuminated the tree shape, I had to stop and just admire it. Beautiful. This is a beautiful doily, and it has scallops....I'm in...

Beauty, Blessings & Bounty for you this day..

  4. Good Morning to you also. We are setting in for a Winter storm coming our way! I can't wait, we are expected to get up to 5" of snow with a half of inch of ice on top. I LOVE the doily, so beautiful. I think it would make a great CAL. Enjoy your day!

  9. Hi Glor. Why do doilies scare me? The yarn is so tiny...it just scares me! But I adore the ones you do!!
